Wonderful weekend walk and escape. Need to enter before Noon as it is restricted park area. Don't forget, if you like trout to buy some on the way home to either eat on the spot in sandwich or prepare home

This fish farm is the unbeaten "classic" in the Munich area. The smoked char is terrific.

Very tasty fish but unfortunately the staff was really unfriendly today ... we still took 2 packs of salmon trout fillet with us. I hope it depended on my daily form otherwise I would be really shocked. So unfortunately only 3 stars which can be corrected. Nice hiking trail.

one of the best places in Bavaria! Narrow valley in the mountains, 15 minutes from parking through the forest to the real fish farm under the rock. You can degustate and buy variety of alpen fish there. Nicely and lovely place. Highly recommend!

We were up there for a walk through the woods and past the fishery.It was so beautiful with so much snow,like a Fairy tale.An ideal outing for fresh air,excercise,and giving kids the possibility of rolling about in snow enjoying the true Winter as It should be.

Very good selection, friendly staff. Super organized for takeout sales. Disinfectant dispensers are available and there is a one-way rule for the queue.

We were here on Sunday, November 29th, 2020 in Locktown, so unfortunately nothing to linger. We ate mulled wine (good) and the last 2 fish rolls with smoked char (good but at a'6 € very expensive) around 3pm. The staff at the sales booth were not particularly motivated, but we still took char and salmon fillet with us. They were very good, although the fish in the basins are not so nice and some were already dead in them.

We passed the ducal fish farm in Wildbad Kreuth by chance and were very positively surprised. Super friendly service and really tasty fish. The ambience is of course very special. You sit in the middle of the fish ponds. We also took smoked fish to take home with us and will definitely come back again!

In a wonderful setting, the smell of the smoker lures you to the ponds at the ducal fish farm. The magnificent specimens are nice to look at. Deliciously arranged and also to take away. Smoked or the fish cream is very, very fine.

Very nice inn where you can also enjoy the trout. Very nice to eat to relax and enjoy the meal.

you can walk next to a nice, shallow creek, if the weather allows it you can walk even in the creek. wonderful

A fish 🐟 restaurant in the mountains ⛰ where the fish are taken directly from the pool and smoked beforehand 🏭 the food 🍽 was very good 👍 the service 🤵🏻 was very friendly. Here you can take a little break before you continue upwards 🏔

Beautifully located, did the hike through the Wolfsschlucht and looked for something to eat, unfortunately there was nothing without fish😂. But it was very well attended, good selection of fish dishes and the beer garden between the rearing ponds was super full.

Great implementation of the Corona regulations. The man at the entrance explained the concept very well and in a very nice way. You can sit nicely between the fish ponds and watch the fish. We had two very good cakes and in the end we had taken fish with us. It was very good! The only place we subtract the three stars was on condition. The first asked us if we (4 people) wanted to sit down at a table. Since the tables are not that big we declined and couldn't understand why she asked. The second condition, we said that the biscuit she added to the milk coffee had expired on January 20, 2020 (we have July 18, 2020, so over half a year!). The only thing she said was that there is so much sugar in it that doesn't matter at all when it expires. She hadn't even apologized or offered to bring a new one. That would have been very nice to the customer. The area around the restaurant is very nice for hiking or walking. There are also enough parking spaces in the nearby hiking parking lots and at the fish farm.

Perfect place to enjoy a delicious lunch. Very friendly service and the smoked trout is the best you can possibly have.

Best Forellenzucht ever! The Saiblinge is a must! In winter they also usually have graved Lachsforelle.
